A Great Addition to The Farm: CommunityCare Opens Its New Member & Resource Center on June 1st

Here at Reppe Property Group, we spend a lot of time thinking about what makes a retail center thrive. It’s about bringing the right tenants into the right spaces, with an emphasis on finding tenants that genuinely serve the surrounding community. So, when we have news like this, we love sharing it!

We’re proud to announce that CommunityCare is opening its brand-new Member & Resource Center at The Farm Shopping Center (5235 S. Sheridan Rd., Tulsa, OK 74145) on Monday, June 1st, 2026.

What Is the CommunityCare Member & Resource Center?

CommunityCare — Oklahoma’s locally-owned health insurance provider, proudly backed by both Saint Francis Health System and Ascension St. John, has created a dedicated, member-focused facility designed to go beyond traditional insurance services. It’s a full-scale wellness and community hub where members can access support, connect with others, and learn something new.

The center will be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and is designed to serve CommunityCare insurance plan members across the Tulsa metro area.

“This center represents an important investment in our members and our community,” said Josiah Sutton, President and CEO of CommunityCare. “By expanding access to personalized support, wellness programs and educational resources, we are helping ensure our members have the tools they need to live healthier, more connected lives.”

What Programs and Services Will Be Offered?

This is where it gets really exciting. The Member & Resource Center is built around five core areas of service:

1. Member Support Services

Staff will be on-site to help members with in-person plan education, enrollment questions, and benefits assistance. No more sorting through confusing paperwork alone. At the center, members can walk in and get real answers from real people.

2. Health & Wellness Programs

The center will offer physical activity classes, health screenings, nutrition workshops, and chronic disease prevention programs.

3. Social Engagement

One of the most meaningful aspects of this center is its focus on reducing isolation. CommunityCare will host social events specifically designed to bring members together and to create a sense of belonging.

4. Arts & Culture

From music and painting to crafts and cultural celebrations, the center will offer a variety of programming that feeds the creative and cultural spirit of Tulsa’s diverse membership.

5. Lifelong Learning

Educational sessions will cover topics like financial literacy, technology, personal safety, and healthy aging — resources that empower members to live fuller, more informed lives.

In addition to ongoing programming, the center will host workshops, movie showings, and special monthly events. Members can download the monthly events calendar at ccok.com/mrcenter or call (918) 594-4118 for more information.

“Every visit to the Member & Resource Center (MRC) offers our members a chance to learn something new, meet someone new, and feel connected to something that is bigger than themselves,” said Scott Black, Manager of the Member & Resource Center.

Why The Farm?

The Farm Shopping Center has long been one of Tulsa’s most beloved neighborhood retail destinations. Situated in the heart of midtown, it draws a diverse, local customer base and has a reputation for being a genuine community gathering place — not just a place to shop. For a tenant like CommunityCare, whose entire mission is built around serving their members’ quality of life, The Farm is a natural fit.

“For more than five decades, The Farm has been a familiar and valued part of Tulsa’s landscape, serving this community since 1971,” said Mike Neal, President and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber. “With CommunityCare’s investment of a new 16,000-square-foot Member and Resource Center, we’re seeing The Farm reimagined for a new generation, breathing fresh life into a space that has long been part of our city’s story.”

“This one started with a simple phone call from Scott Schlotfelt of Commercial Oklahoma looking for space for a mystery tenant, and ended with one of the most meaningful leases I’ve been a part of,” said Bob Reppe, President at Reppe Property Group. “When Community Care’s leadership team walked the space for the first time and immediately connected with what The Farm Shopping Center is building, I knew we had something special. Deals like this don’t come together without everyone at the table being committed to making it work — from the first showing to the final lease, every party — Community Care’s team, Commercial Oklahoma, and the ownership group at SHOP — stayed focused on getting to yes. Community Care isn’t just filling 16,000 square feet — they’re bringing purpose to it. A member resource center open five days a week, focused on health, wellness, lifelong learning, and real human connection — when your tenant mix includes an organization genuinely devoted to improving people’s lives, that energy radiates across the whole center. The Farm was already a destination — Community Care takes it to another level.”

We’re thrilled to have played a role in bringing this to fruition, and we think it’s a perfect example of how thoughtful commercial leasing can benefit an entire neighborhood.

Mark Your Calendar: Open House on May 28th

Can’t make the grand opening on June 1st? CommunityCare is also hosting a members-only Open House on Thursday, May 28th — come and go from 10:00 AM to Noon or 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It’s a great opportunity to tour the space, meet the staff, and learn more about everything the center has to offer.

“My team and I are looking forward to welcoming our CommunityCare members to our new home at the Farm Shopping Center,” said Scott Black. “CommunityCare is paving the way for how we approach health and wellness. By taking a whole-person approach, we are addressing our members’ physical health, emotional well-being, and social connection.”
